Sensory equipment for PICU at the RVI

When Evie was in hospital there was not enough sensory equipment to enable her to have one of the light boxes which she would have loved. After asking the ward what equipment they needed they gave us a shopping list, so we got them everything from it! Now the children on the unit will have lots of sensory toys to entertain them and aid their recovery through stimulation. Also, for babies such as Evie these toys really help development while stuck in a hospital ward unable to experience the bright lights of the outside world!
