8 Words
Many years ago, Greg was asked to share Evie’s story and experiences of care with the team in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the RVI.
The talk Greg gave was based around 8 words which he felt were key to improving care for children and their families:
- Understanding
- Honesty
- Humanity
- Awareness (that you night not know best)
- Reality
- Openness (that you might not know everything)
- Compassion
- Be YOU
The keynote session that the ‘8 words’ has developed into has been given much acclaim, and Greg has delivered the session across the country at various conferences and professional development sessions.
