How it helps

By choosing to remember Team Evie in your Will, you can help us continue to make hospital stays a little easier for children, reduce anxiety for parents, save children’s lives and support families through the devastating loss of a child.

We understand that your loved ones will always come first. Once you have made provision for the people who matter most to you, a gift to Team Evie is a wonderful way to leave something meaningful behind and help other families when they need it most.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to include Team Evie in their Will. Your generosity can help ensure that our work continues long into the future.

If you are considering leaving a gift to Team Evie, we would love to hear from you. We are always happy to answer any questions, arrange a visit or simply have an informal, no-obligation chat about the difference your gift could make.

Why Make a Will?

A Will is more than a legal document — it gives you peace of mind that your wishes are known and that the people and causes that matter most to you are looked after.

Making or updating your Will is a straightforward way to make sure your wishes are respected and your estate is distributed in the way you choose.

A Will allows you to:

  • Provide for the people you love and make sure your wishes are known.
  • Choose how your estate is distributed, including remembering causes that are important to you.Potentially reduce inheritance tax, as gifts to registered charities such as Team Evie are generally exempt from inheritance tax.

At Team Evie, we understand that family and friends come first. If, once you have made provision for your loved ones, you choose to leave us a gift, we want you to know just how much it means to us — and to the families we support.

Types of Gift

There are several different ways you can leave a gift to Team Evie in your Will. Your solicitor or Will writer can advise you on which option is right for you.

Residuary Gift
A percentage, or share, of what remains of your estate after any debts, expenses and gifts to loved ones have been paid. A residuary gift can be a particularly valuable way to support Team Evie, as its value naturally keeps pace with the value of your estate over time.

Pecuniary Gift
A specific sum of money left to Team Evie in your Will.

Specific Gift
A particular item or asset, such as property, shares or jewellery, left to Team Evie.
