3 Lakes Walk 2021

We are thrilled to announce our new revamped 3 Lakes Walk for 2021 sponsored by Cumbrian Tea!

After the cancellation of the 2020 event we have been in discussions and planning with the events team on how we could make the event even better for 2021 and we are really pleased to announce a new route and the removal of the minibus section of the day!! We expect there to be a huge demand for places… after all being in various states of lockdown for so long we know you will all be itching to get involved in a big event – and also after a year of cancelled fundraising events we can’t wait to have your support!

This year we will begin in Ennerdale, walking along the north shore, before heading over Scarth Gap to Buttermere, where we will walk the paths around Buttermere and Crummock (as in 2019). This means that the route is slightly longer than previous events and now stands at 29 miles.

We are still working hard on some aspects of the event but wanted to announce it and make places available as soon as we had confirmed the dates – this way we know how many people are wanting to take part on how many to plan for. We will send out information packs for the event once all details are confirmed in the coming months, but for now you can secure your place on the event by filling in the details below and buying a ticket!

• Tickets for the event cost £25 per person
• There are group leaders for the event so no navigating is required – all you need to do is the training to make sure you are ready for the day. A good level of fitness is required to complete the challenge, and it will be much more enjoyable if you are ready for it!
• As with all our events, the money raised will go towards helping sick children and their families in The North East and Cumbria. We ask that everyone who signs up for the event pledges to raise a minimum £250 in sponsorship.
• As part of your sign up for the event we send you lots of information; including kit lists & routes. We also provide lots of treats for the day to keep you going!!

*this event will be held in line with COVID-19 safe guidance. In the event of a change in guidance resulting in the event being cancelled participants will be offered a full refund or be able to keep their place for the rescheduled event.
