Portable Libraries

These libraries mean that there is a selection of up to 600 books available 24 hours a day for families to use. These trolleys, crammed with books for all ages are loved by the children, parents and staff on all the ward we have donated to so far.

Sensory Toys & Equipment

The sensory toys and equipment we provide makes a huge difference to the children we support in hospital. A lot of the children we support are in hospital long-term and although the main focus is on getting them better, it is important to continue other areas of mental and physical development at the same time.

Family Rooms

It is really important for a sick child to have their loved ones near, supporting them, letting them know what is happening and why, so we are incredibly proud to provide make-overs for family rooms in the hospitals we support.

Special Baby Groups

Looking after a child at home who has a chronic, or long-term, condition can be very isolating and scary for a parent. In support of the Community Nursing Team we created the Special Baby Groups - a safe place where parents can take their child and enjoy some time out and about.

Medical Equipment

We provide various medical equipment to the teams we support. This equipment costs a lot of money, but makes a huge difference to the staff in caring for the children they look after, and is actually saving children's lives in our communities and hospitals.

Peer Support

We created this service after hearing from lots of parents that they felt that they had no support when they needed it the most, and we know from the feedback we receive from Service Users that it is making a huge difference to those we are helping.
